Engaging High Performers

Is your business growing? Are you hiring new employees? It’s easy to focus on looking for new employees and forget about engaging your high performers. And how much does it cost to replace a high performer?

The individuals I coach are hungry for growth, want to take massive action, and are looking for the next thing to up-level their lives.

High performers can be exhausting to manage. I was a high performer that wanted development, but my managers couldn’t offer the level of growth I craved. And on the other side when I was a manager, I found I neither had the time to dedicate nor the refined skill to give my high performers what they needed.

Now being a trained and certified life coach and having gained that skill to provide high performers the growth they want, I understand I couldn’t have done that as a manager.

Many corporations have recognized this and hired coaches to keep on staff, but that’s not always an option for small and medium companies.

Companies and managers want to keep and develop their high performers. However, managers don’t have the time and most do not have the skills.

The high performers I coach appreciate the

  • Outside perspective

  • Hard truth

  • Time

  • Intentional growth

  • Getting to the root causes

  • Vulnerability

Do you have a high performer you have been looking to engage? Consider hiring a coach to help them grow. This is something that is easily delegated and truly appreciated by the employee.
